1. Who is responsible
Aaron Parker, trading as Business in Motion, is responsible for personal information collected through this website and enquiries about its services. Business in Motion is not presented as an incorporated company.
For privacy enquiries contact hello@businessinmotion.co.uk. The Conscious Self is a separate brand. If responsibility transfers to a company, this notice will explain the change.
2. The information involved
The enquiry form asks for your name, business name, email address, optional package preference and a short explanation of the support you need. Please share only what is necessary for an initial conversation. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, customer lists, health information or other sensitive records.
If you contact Aaron directly, the information received includes your message, contact details, any attachments you choose to send and subsequent correspondence. Technical information such as IP addresses, request times, browser information and security events may also be processed by the service hosting a published website.
If you arrive through a link containing campaign labels, the form may include its source, medium and campaign name with your enquiry. These labels help us understand where enquiries came from. They are read from the current page address and are not saved in cookies or browser storage.
3. How the enquiry form works
When you press Send my enquiry, your name, business name, email address, optional package preference and message are sent over HTTPS to FormSubmit, which forwards them to hello@businessinmotion.co.uk. Google Workspace receives that email in Aaron’s existing business inbox.
You do not need an email app. A confirmation appears after the form service accepts your enquiry. If sending fails, your answers remain on screen and you can retry or email us directly. Submission is not a newsletter subscription.
4. Why enquiry information is used
We use received enquiries to understand your request, reply, assess the fit, prepare a proposal you have asked for and arrange a conversation. We may also use them to prevent misuse, resolve complaints and keep an appropriate record of discussions.
For a person enquiring about a contract in their own capacity, necessary steps requested before entering that contract may rely on the pre-contractual steps lawful basis. For company representatives and other business enquiries, the usual basis is legitimate interests: responding to a request and managing business communications in a way the person reasonably expects. Legal obligations may apply to records required by law.
Providing enquiry information is voluntary. A name, reply address and useful description are needed to respond meaningfully. An enquiry does not commit you to buy a service.
5. Enquiries and marketing
An enquiry is not a newsletter subscription or permission for unrelated promotional emails. Your enquiry details will not automatically be added to a marketing list.
Any future mailing-list sign-up will explain what you receive, the relevant basis for sending and how to unsubscribe. Where consent is required it will be requested separately, rather than made a condition of submitting an enquiry.
6. Access and service providers
Aaron receives enquiries and uses them to respond. Authorised assistance, if required, is limited to the information needed. Information is not sold.
FormSubmit processes online submissions to deliver enquiry emails and prevent abuse. Its privacy information explains its handling. Google Workspace provides the receiving inbox. Sites and its hosting infrastructure deliver the website and process technical request information.
External links, including Instagram, Facebook and Trustpilot, open other providers’ websites; their own privacy notices apply. Social examples use locally hosted images rather than embedded feeds.
7. How long information is kept
Received enquiries that do not become clients are retained for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, then deleted or anonymised unless an active complaint, legal claim or legal duty requires longer retention. Client records have separate retention arrangements.
FormSubmit handles delivery and may retain submissions for up to 30 days according to its published help information. Received emails are held in Google Workspace. This website does not store enquiry answers in a separate website database.
8. Security and international processing
Enquiries use encrypted HTTPS connections. Account access is restricted and security controls include strong passwords and multi-factor authentication where available. No website or email system can guarantee absolute security. Please do not include passwords, health information, payment details or private customer records.
Technical providers may process information outside the UK. We do not describe this service as UK-only storage. Contact hello@businessinmotion.co.uk for information about the providers and processing arrangements.
9. Cookies, analytics and advertising tracking
The current website code does not install analytics cookies, Meta Pixel, advertising tags, embedded social widgets or local-storage tracking. Its fonts and images are served with the site. The enquiry form does not save answers in website-controlled browser storage.
The hosting platform may process essential technical, security and access information to deliver and protect the website. This statement describes the website’s own code; your browser and the hosting infrastructure operate separately.
If analytics, advertising measurement, a booking embed or another tracking tool is introduced, this notice will be updated and any legally required consent will be obtained before that tool runs. An external link is not the same as an embedded tracking service.
10. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction or portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and object to direct marketing at any time. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
These rights have conditions and exceptions. Reasonable identity checks may be needed to protect your information. Requests are normally answered within one month, subject to lawful extensions or other adjustments which will be explained. Send privacy requests to hello@businessinmotion.co.uk.
You can raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator. You do not have to contact us first to exercise your right to complain.
11. AI and automated decisions
The current form does not score leads, profile visitors or make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. It does not send form answers to an AI service.
If AI assistance is later used to help handle enquiries, the purpose, relevant providers, safeguards and human oversight must be assessed and reflected here before that processing begins. A service package involving AI does not by itself mean that website enquiry information is being sent to an AI tool.
12. Client work and changes to this notice
This notice covers website enquiries. Processing within a client’s own systems is addressed separately in the agreed service and data processing arrangements.
Updated 27 October 2026. Material changes to how information is used will be reflected here and explained at collection where appropriate.
